Spiritual Warfare

Kingdom Principles: Discuss the following principles from a personal perspective
  1. There is no victory without battle.
  2. God uses battles to train us.
  3. God will sometimes allow problems and hardships in our lives in order to strengthen our spirits and teach us to put our trust in the maker instead of putting it in our own strength.

“There is no victory without battle” is one of those statements that make you say, “Uuuum.” How can we say as Christians that we are victorious if we have never been in a battle. It would sound strange if I said that I was in a fight and was victorious, but I did not fight anyone. We must go through something in order to be a blessing for someone else.

I believe that we already have victory through our savior Jesus Christ. I would say that there is NO growth Battle. I say that because the battle is already won. All we as believers have to do is go through it and God says he wont give you more than you can bare just so you can win the battle. After the Battle growth shall come. Some Christians will fight the same battle for a long time before they grow and i think that is a part of the process. So I do feel that God uses battles to train us for some of the things we may endure later in life. So while we are in the battle I believe that is when the hardships and problems come. As we win the Battle the hardships will be conquered.

God is greater then my sences, greater than my thoughts, greater than my heart. I do believe that God touches me in places that are unknown even to myself. I seldom can point directly to these places; but when I feel this inner pull to return again to that hidden hour and prayer, I realize that something is happening that is so deep that it becomes like a riverbed through which the waters can safely flow and find their way to the open sea…..God is not foreign to my freedom. Instead the spirit breathes life into my most intimate desires, gently nudging me toward all that is good. I ask for the grace to let myself be enfolded by the spirit. In the silence of my innermost being, in the fragments of my yearned-for wholeness, can I hear the whispers of God’s presence? Can I remember when I felt God’s nearness? When we walk together and let myself be embraced by God’s LOVE….

Victory w/out battle in true enough. God won the victory why do people still fight? The battles I’ve been engaged in has taught me to stand on the promises of God and to draw nearer to God. If it had no been for the Lord on my side where would I be?!!!!!!!!!! The battles have trained me to depend on no one except God, when I was down and out w/ no where to turn I began practicing the presence. I began asking God how do I live in his presence? How do I detect his unseen hand on my shoulder and his unaudiable voice in my hear? I asked God w/ boldness how can I grow familiar w/ his voice, I began giving God my waking thoughts, before I would face the day I’d face the Father, I gave God my waiting thoughts, I spend time w/ him in silence I tried being silent w/ God, Psalms 46:10 states “Be still and know that I am God.” I gave God my whisphering thoughts I learned the value of brief sentence prayers, prayers that I would whisper anywhere in any setting, by giving God my whispering thoughts the common became uncommon simple phrases such as thank you Father, be sovereign in the hour just praying where ever I was, I let my kitchen become a cathedral and my living room a chapel, my closet the alter, last I gave God my waning thoughts, at the end of the day I let my mind settle on him, concluding the day as I began it talking to God thanking him for the good parts and question him about the hard parts, I seeked his mercy his strength, as I closed my eyes taking assurance in his promise: “He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep”
Psalms 121:4 and if I fell asleep will I was praying I didn’t worry for what better place for me to doze off than in the arms of my Father. There are still problems and hardships to face however God is the source of my life, God is the strentgh in my life and thats why I give him total praise no matter what the circumstances my be and what battles there are to face I will trust in the Lord until I die, Victourously walking In FAITH DAILY.

Being able to identify your enemy is the key to victorious living. For example, your enemy:
    1) the devil goes about like a roaring lion (1 Peter 5:8)
    2) he comes to steal, kill and to destroy (John 10:10)
    3) he blinds the minds… (2 Cor. 4:4)
    4) he appears as an angel of light (2 Cor. 11:14)
Now that you can identify him, now you need to properly prepare for victory. Ephesians 6:10-18 details the “rules of engagement.” Put on the full armor of God ………

It’s so awesome when you receive the revelation of the power that’s on the inside of you! You become sensitive to the fact that you’re in a spiritual warfare, and able to recognize and defeat the enemy when he comes. You begin to realize that all of those things that you were once a slave to, and never thought you could overcome, you actually have REAL power to be victorious. You begin to allow yourself to be led by your Spirit and not your flesh. It’s so wonderful to know that you have the Kingdom of God on the inside of you, but to also begin to tap into all of the benefits that are available to you as a result. It’s a wonderful thing to actually feel yourself take back the power that the devil has stolen from you, to get your life back! You don’t have to loose another day, the entire Kingdom of Heaven is backing you up!
